In the last week I was really frustrated because my search for a manual winter RWD car wasn’t progressing at all. The first candidate (E34 530i Touring) is still broken and the second candidate (E36 323ti Compact) didn’t reserve much support from the Oppo friends.

But today I managed to find a surprising solution. Lucky things happened and a ‘91 E34 M5 is now parked in my yard. It’s in ~98% original condition and it was even a real bargain.

This picture sums up my own thoughts about my car buying task.

I’m now dead tired as the trip to fetch it took nearly 12 hours and I didn’t have a change to eat properly at any stage. I’ve got to sleep now.

Nice! I know the tired feeling. Just flew 700 miles yesterday morning then spent the rest of yesterday and today driving home.
